How to Properly Clean Your Devices

How to Clean Your Screen

Modern digital screens are made up of many micro-thin layers. Cleaning your screen with a paper towel and Windex will slowly wear these layers away, creating small abrasions. To get dust and fingerprints off a screen, first turn off the device, then rub a microfiber cloth in large circles, pressing lightly, until the screen is clean. If you need something more it is recommended to apply some screen cleaner (ammonia and alcohol-free) to the cloth, not the screen.

To get dust and any bits out of the keyboard and nooks of your device, computer, or laptop use compressed air or an air blaster on your powered-down device. For the flat surfaces that collect fingerprints or grime, use a damp microfiber cloth with screen cleaner or an isopropyl alcohol.--Links in this article are Amazon Affiliate links.
