Petit Verdot Label
I was fortunate to be asked to create a wine label For Claudine Wines’ new artist series. The design needed to be a departure from their minimalist style but still recognizable, evoke an intersection of luxury and affordability, and speak to the bright, playfulness of the Petit Verdot varietal. Just like a bottle of wine is an expression of a place and time, I wanted my design process to be an expression of the current conversation around AI.
I used MidJourney, Leonardo AI, and Photoshop AI in my process to create the label and lifestyle images. It is the first client project where I incorporated AI throughout the entire design process.
The final design features a young buck deer dressed for a secret garden party, embodying the themes of playful, non-minimalist aesthetics, and the allure of a mysterious and unique wine. Petit Verdot translates to ‘Little Green One’ so I hid a small mouse in a green outfit on the back.
