Peak D&D
Peak D&D is a tabletop roleplaying game liveplay channel producing long-form narrative campaigns and short-form gameplay content for YouTube and social platforms. After discovering the group locally, I reached out to offer support across design, web, and social media, initially contributing graphic assets and downloadable PDFs.
Over time, my role grew into a full creative partnership, and I eventually joined the cast for their new campaign, Return to Argilia, becoming both a designer and an on-screen player.
With the launch of the new campaign, I led a comprehensive brand refresh that included a new logo, redesigned liveplay overlays, and a scalable thumbnail system built to support consistent weekly releases. In addition to ongoing design work for merchandise, ads, and PDFs, I manage short-form video production and social distribution, and I adapted the liveplay show into an audio podcast format to expand the channel’s reach.
Together, these efforts have helped establish a cohesive brand presence and support steady audience growth within a highly niche and competitive space.

Live Play Overlays
The inspiration for the overlay is a scratched and worn tavern table with many etchings from previous campaign heroes, players, and a few easter eggs. There are many dynamic variations depending on the situation from recaps, multi-player feature, and battle-focused.
Thumbnails
Thumbnail design began as an exploration of using generative AI to quickly and consistently visualize theater-of-the-mind gameplay. This led to the development of a flexible thumbnail system that supported over 100 episodes while maintaining strong visual continuity across the channel.
Through this process, I developed deep expertise in generative image tools and iterative refinement workflows, combining AI-assisted output with compositing and advanced Photoshop techniques.
Over time, ethical considerations and community feedback informed a shift away from AI-generated imagery. I now photograph physical miniatures and set pieces, preserving the established visual language while grounding the imagery in tangible, handcrafted elements.

Socials
I manage Peak D&D’s social presence across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, editing long-form gameplay into short-form clips designed for discovery and engagement. My workflow focuses on dynamic cuts, speaker switching, reaction shots, and baked-in captions, with content published consistently twice per week.
This approach has contributed to steady audience growth and increased visibility in a crowded and highly niche content space.
Podcast Distribution
To further expand the reach of the liveplay series, I adapted the YouTube episodes into an audio-first podcast format. This includes preparing MP3 exports, managing uploads through Podbean, and distributing the show to major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music.
Adding the podcast channel has extended the audience beyond video-first platforms and made the campaign accessible to listeners who prefer long-form audio content.
